Baby & Family Services
(Up To 18 Months)

Sleep Specific

 

- Antenatal or Postnatal

-  Up to 60-minute appointment

- in depth discussion of specific sleep concern

- discussion of family values & goals in relation to sleep

- sleep biology

- creating a manageable plan for addressing sleep

- tools to make the days enjoyable and the nights manageable

Feeding Specific

 

-Antenatal or Postnatal

- Up to 60-minute appointment

- in depth discussion of specific feeding difficulties

- discussion of family values and goals in relation to feeding

- biomechanics of breastfeeding

- observation of a feed

- discussion of adjustments including hands on assistance where required

- feeding plan moving forward

NDIS self & plan managed clients are charged at $193.99/hour in accordance with NDIS pricing guide.

Travel & resource requests, such as social stories, visuals, resource creation, liaision with other healthcare providers such as your child’s paediatrician, parent feedback emails are charged additionally.

Comprehensive

 

Antenatal or Postnatal. Up to 1.5-hour appointment and covers everything in both sleep & feeding specific consults.

Cancellations

  • Cancelled appointments are a loss to three people:
    the client who is delaying their therapy progress;

  • another client who has been waiting to see a therapist urgently; and

  • the therapist who has spent time and effort preparing for the session.

 

In the event that less than 2 business days’ notice is given to reschedule or cancel an appointment, or a scheduled appointment is not attended, the normal consultation fee will be charged. This policy is in place to allow us to offer the allocated time to another client who may be on our cancellation or waiting list.

Inside of the 2 business day period, if you are unable to meet face to face we offer the following options instead of cancelling the appointment:

  • Phone consultation (parent and therapist)

  • Telehealth appointment (at therapist’s discretion)

 

In the case that the cancellation is due to medical reasons, we ask that a medical certificate is provided to babyandbloom@outlook.com.au within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment and the fee will be then be waived.
